E3 2011

I've already written a short bit about the new Tomb Raider, but here are some thoughts on other titles mentioned at E3:

Biohazard: Operation Raccoon City:

This game does look interesting but I have some concerns about it. Chiefly, it is set in Raccoon City, already destroyed in the series timeline. So, it's trying to squeeze more out of previous instalments rather than developing the story further. Although having said that, there are only so many biological disasters that a game universe can have unleashed upon it.
You can play on the side of either United States Special Operations, or Umbrella Security Service, whose aims are to kill survivors and mask the corporation's activities. Apparently, you have the opportunity to alter the storyline dramatically by killing Leon in 1998.

Assassins Creed: Revelations:

Looks to feature Altaïr, Ezio and Desmond, containing typical open-world gameplay in interesting locations.

Journey:

This one certainly appears intriguing, although there doesn't seem to be much to it. You can encounter other players online who can come and go, but you can't identify them by anything other than a symbol on the front of them.

Okabu:

Rather adorable! I can't find a lot of information but it largely seems to be about battling industrialisation and destruction with the help of some dolphin-like clouds!

From Dust:

WOW. This one really looks to be something. I think the bulk of gameplay involves manipulating the environment to affect the tribe.

Far Cry 3:

I think that says everything really. Although I am apprehensive of the title's depiction of mental illness.
