Fright Simulators

Fright Simulators, "Sensation of Fear" in Japan and "Haunted House Simulators" in America, are a different take on survival horror gaming. MicroBot review

MicroBot is a fascinating game from the interestingly-named Naked Sky Entertainment, available for download from PlayStation Network and XBOX Live Arcade. The first thing that grabbed me was that a bulk of it takes place within the human blood stream.

Dead Nation review

From Finnish company Housemarque comes Dead Nation, available for download from PlayStation Network. It's typical zombie apocalypse fare but in many ways is quite refreshing.

First thing I loved about the game? Its female character, Scarlett Blake.

Does anybody remember this game?

Every now-and-then I'm baffled by the fact that nobody else remembers the game Excalibur 2555AD! It's true that I didn't remember anything about the plot (looked it up; Merlin's niece goes to the future? RLY?) but walking down dark brick corridors while red-glowy-eyed skeletons launch themselves at me and there's lava dotted around places has always stuck with me for whatever reason!
